Jun 21, 2004. #1. Hey guys, I have an RSView project loaded in a touch panel display. It has an operator login screen which comes up first. I need a software keyboard which will get displayed along with that screen. When i selected the "display keyboard" option in the display properties, it just gives a Num Pad with the entry field.

This was done for RSView32 7.60.00 on Windows 10 64-bit: Run the installer normally. In the installation directory, navigate to "~7.60.00-RSView32-DVDDisk1_RedistSyBaseWATCOM". Copy and paste the contents of the WATCOM directory to C:WindowsSysWOW64. You do not need to copy the WSQLODBC help file.

Were the graphics files you are importing created with a different version of RSView32. If I recall correctly, Rockwell changed the format at version 6 point something. If its an old project then open it in RSView32 7.5 and follow the prompts to update the project. There is also an easier way to import graphics.

Jul 17, 2001. #2. To the best of my knowledge, the graphics are completely incompatable. The best you might do is take a screen capture of the RSView and use it as a background for the Panelview screen. You could then develop over top of the bitmap, and remove it when it looks about right. The database CAN be imported, but it takes lots of work.

Unfortunately, there is no direct way to import RSView32 graphics into RSView ME. However, here is a workaround that was posted on the Rockwell Automation forum page: If what you need are the graphics, then there is a workaround. Use the project documentor utility and export the displays you need to a HTML.
